What Chrysalis is All About
Our next Chrysalis weekend will be held at the Wabash Presbyterian Church and Bliss Center in Orio, IL from Saturday, February 17th-19th, 2024. Our Lay Director will be Jessica Corrie.
Chrysalis is a non-denominational, three-day course in Christianity designed specifically for teenagers 15-19 who are still in high school. The weekend provides the opportunity for young people to commit their lives or recommit their lives to Christ as they are reminded or introduced to the unconditional love of God. Throughout the weekend, there will be multiple talks and testimonies given by pastors, teens, and other adults. The weekend begins on a Saturday morning at 8:00 am in Orio (Allendale) and ends on Monday evening at 5:00.
There will be free time, small group discussion, worship, chapel, games, skits, laughter, wonderful meals, and incredible opportunities for self-reflection and growth in your Christian walk. If you have any questions, please contact our Chrysalis Lay Director, Rachel Frederick, at firstname.lastname@example.org or our Community Lay Director, Kaitlyn Lasswell, at email@example.com.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
